The Speaker of National assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepted resignations of 11 MNA’s of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday.

The Speaker common the resignation by using exercising the powers conferred below Clause (1) of Article 64 of the constitution of Pakistan.

The National Assembely Secretariat has also issued a notification on this.

According to a spokesperson of the NA meeting, notifications concerning the reputation of resignations have been forwarded to the Election Commission of Pakistan for further proceedings.

Those whose resignations have been standard encompass Shireen Mazari, Ali Muhammad Khan, Fazl Muhammad Khan, Shaukat Khan, Fakhar Zaman Khan, Farrukh Habib, Ijaz Shah, Akram Cheema, Jamil Ahmad Khan, Shandana Gulzar and Abdul Shakoor Shaad.

It’s miles pertinent to say that these individuals had tendered their resignations from their countrywide assembly seats after the ouster of high Minister Imran Khan via no-agree with motion.
