Seoul (South Korea),Seoul Metropolitan Government employees are allowed to sleep for an hour during one o'clock in the afternoon to six o'clock in the evening, which will be applied from August 2014. According to South Korean media, most of the people lose their attention after lunch and an hour of sleep could change this situation of sleepiness. It’s all up to them to take advantage of the option by either coming early or sitting late in office. First time in the country such plan is introduced. Employees could sleep in lounge, conference rooms or other available spaces in office. In next year, local government is going to spend the money to provide more places to take rest, but so far it is not clear, how many people will take advantage of this new plan because they will have to compensate this one hour of sleep.
